experience relatively
The big thing for us is that we've all made it through this experience relatively healthy, just tired, fatigued more than anything else.
experience heck paid school ultimate
It's a heck of an experience for them. We paid the ultimate price. But we're not in school anymore.
certainly coming credit europe exactly experience fellow good happening people pond realize saw side sort starting
I think that what's happening now is that this side of the pond is starting to realize exactly how good this young fellow is. Certainly in Europe and those of us who have had experience over there sort of saw this coming ? not to this degree, I'm not going to take credit for that. But certainly people are starting to realize this guy's for real.
ahead assume experience might road sure tougher
It is important to experience everything that you might see in the playoffs. But having said that, we have to make sure that we don't assume anything...And if we play the way we did tonight, it's going to be a tougher road ahead of us than we think.
direction generally played solid step towards
I thought we played a solid game. I thought we were, generally speaking, pretty complete. I'm going to look at this as a step in the right direction towards the playoffs.
goals good stop
I thought they scored some pretty good goals . If you can't see it, you can't stop it.
huge obligation
I think we may be a little apprehensive. They just feel this huge obligation to be something special.
cares helped language talks time
Jaromir really cares about this kid. He's helped him with his language; he talks to him all the time in English.
coaching feels habits honored hope player respect shows teammates treats work
I think everyone feels honored to be part of it. Jaromir comes to work every day and displays what you could only hope for in a player like that, with his work habits and the way he treats his teammates and the respect he shows the organization and the coaching staff.
feels honored
I think everyone feels honored to be part of it.
acceptable help ice intention level performance time today understand worked
Our intention is that every time we go on the ice we have a purpose, and there is a level of performance that is acceptable and one that isn't. Sometimes we help them understand what acceptable is. Today was no problem. They worked hard.
couple power puck work
Our power play got us a couple of big ones and our PK did what it had to do. Keep the puck to the outside. They work very, very hard.
extremely valuable
Right now that could be an extremely valuable point. Tonight, it is.
guts last rules sure
I think he'd be able to play there under the old rules too. I'm not sure he'd last through 60 minutes. But he's got more guts than a slaughterhouse.
