I am extremely excited to be a part of Vision Racing. Tony George and Ed Carpenter have built a solid foundation and the team is moving in the right direction. I have my engineer, David Cripps, with me and we have a solid working relationship. The time that I have had in the off-season with Larry Curry has been encouraging. He is incredibly motivated to win races, and that is what I am looking forward to doing, winning races.

I thought he must be conserving fuel (in the first segment) and then he pitted (only) one lap before me. I knew at that stage he was going to be pretty tough to beat.

I spoke to my dad on my birthday and his advice was to go out and enjoy myself.

She's usually more trouble when she's ahead of me. She should be fine. She took out two of our cars. A little rookie mistake had a big consequence. But I've got no problem racing with her.

A win in Chevy's final race would be unbelievable. I'm almost in tears that Chevy is going from the series with all the horsepower we've got. I think Chevy is now on par with the Honda on the ovals.

Right turn equals happy. I think the diversity will help bring in new fans and other drivers and teams to the IRL. I grew up road racing all over the world and I am really looking forward to getting back to my roots.

I wanted to win so badly this weekend or Panther (Racing) and the guys at Chevrolet. I was able to lead some laps and it's always great to see that Pennzoil car out front, but winning is what's important.

I know if I could haven been up with the leaders, we could have passed them. But I couldn't catch back up to the lead guys.

I think everything is in the right direction. We've all got the same goal, and that's to win races. I think if we achieve that, and hopefully we can achieve that this year, we can put together a productive team and carry on for years to come.

We've had a frustrating year and while the Pennzoil Panther Chevy has been quick and the whole team at Panther have done a great job with preparation, we've only managed to win one race (in Texas). It would be really great if I could pull off something special at The Glen,
affect chevy decent good maybe package race ran second sure tomorrow
We're not sure what happened. I had a decent first lap, but I think going into the second lap, we maybe ran out of fuel. We'll go back and have a look at the data. I'm sure it won't affect us too much for tomorrow in the race for sure. This is a good track, and the package we have in our Pennzoil Chevy should show well here, so we'll see.
