The last four or five weeks have been our most consistent, and they should have been.

I think they held up pretty well. We had a lot of skating, a lot of skill work. I think they did pretty good.

It's just the next step for us. This was our goal and we made it. Now we have our sights set on the first round.

These next nine or 10 days, we're going to find out what we're made of.

It was a pretty emotional two days around here. It was the first (playoff) game at home here for some of the guys. We needed a game like that that was hard fought. Now guys can settle in here and see what it takes to win, and realize you have to go here. Every shift of every game is huge.

Say what you want about (goals) three, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine, but the first two killed us. Once again, you look up and it's 14 minutes to go in the first period and we've dug a hole. Nothing went right for us and everything went right for them, but at the same time they created nine goals. They played hard. We have to stand up to that better.
head playoff ready time
We're in a playoff race. There's no time to put your head down and pout. We've got to get ready to get back at it (today).
battle behind good lie small step toward
We're still behind the 8-ball. This is a small step toward where we want to go. It was good to see that it's going to be a long series. We're going to battle and we're not going to lie down.
games guys pulling results speaks team winning
What they've done speaks for itself. They're a team with 18 guys pulling the same way. The results are pretty evident; they're winning a lot more games than they're losing.
