The whole team did very well as a group.
course front nine playing saying scores tight trouble
The course was playing difficult, that's why the scores are a little higher. That back nine is difficult. It's tight and there are a lot of hazards, so if you're not right on, you can get in trouble in a hurry. I'm not saying the front nine was easy, but that back-nine was a monster.
consistent dual far nice shot tournament weekend
She had a very nice round. She's been very consistent in our two outings so far this season. She shot a 76 at the Alton tournament over the weekend and now a 36 in our first dual matches. She's on her game.
focus focused game girls glad needs played remembered
She remembered to play her own game and not focus on what she needs to shoot. She's played with these girls before and I'm glad that she focused on her game.
blind front happy jessica nine shots
I tell you what, I was real happy to see Jessica come back after that front nine. That back nine was tough. It has a lot of blind shots and a lot of trouble. So for her to come back with a 37 on that nine, that's great.
bear course definitely tough wet
It's probably going to be wet and windy out there Monday, so the course definitely won't get any easier. We're going to have to bear down and play well. It's going to be another tough test.
chips either expect golf gut hard keeping mindset sure
I sure don't see it and I don't really feel it either and I don't think they do. It's like you go out to play golf that day, expect to do your best, gut it out, play as hard as you can and see where the chips fall. I think that's the mindset they've had from day one and they're just keeping that same focus.
awesome hot pleased season start
We're all pleased and excited. It was awesome to start the season this way. I'm pleased with the whole team. They gutted it out on a long, hot day.
short work

both business challenge continue expect golf good putt shooting tied
With those two it's all business on the golf course. How many times have those two been head-to-head? A putt or two here, a putt or two there and they're tied. They tied at the (Illinois-Missouri) Challenge and they're shooting good scores. I expect to see that continue for both of them.

We'll take that score. The girls played this course for the first time Sunday in a practice round. So for not being too familiar with it, that's a pretty good finish.
