I had never heard of Columbus Grove. After I got directions, I found out it was west. I had figured it was down by Columbus.

Our start was a great start. It definitely propelled us and we came out with confidence. That's always good to see, in that environment, not being overwhelmed by where you're playing.

I grew up watching them play and beat teams they didn't have a chance in beating, and that's a testament to their program. Fourteen-and-six is a down year for them. They've got a great tradition there.

(I liked the pace) other than the last three minutes of the second quarter when I felt we got a little too out of control. We went into halftime and said this game is ours if we can clean it up a little bit.

We came out firing. It seemed like every shot we took was going in. Eventually the percentages are going to catch up with you. That's where you pound it inside and get to the free throw line.

When you talk about basketball in northwest Ohio, in Putnam County . . . I imagine it?s a lot like Indiana high-school basketball. I don?t know if you could find many counties in Ohio that have had six teams make it to the state finals in any sport.
