I was just tying to put the ball in the basket. I just wanted to be patient and take what I could get. Just wanted to go to the basket and avoid him, because he'd already took two charges on me, so I was concentrating on trying to do both things.

I was trying to deny him as long as possible, at least eight of the 13 seconds, just to make it a tougher shot and push him out as far as I could. I just wanted to keep my hands up and make it a tough shot.

It was one of those things where you're in a zone. You hit a couple and things are going well and your teammates find you. I was trying to take shots within the flow of the offense. I wasn't trying to force anything.

At the end I was just trying to get to the hole and get a call. As you can see I didn't get the call. So I was just trying to concentrate and make the shot. I just wanted to be aggressive.

All day I've been watching TV and they were mentioning the Christmas Day game without mentioning they had a game tonight, or to watch the Nets. We're just trying to earn respect.

At this point in time, we are just trying to win as many games as possible. Some ugly, hopefully some impressive wins, some wins are going to be by luck. By any means it should be our goal right now.

That series went by so fast. At first, they're all fast because you're trying to learn and get comfortable at the same time.

I put it up, (Smith) was trying to go for the block. I knew that if I didn't make the shot, I had to try and get in position (for the rebound). It's win by any means. Sometimes it's not going to be pretty.

It just tightened up. When I went up, I just felt a grab and I didn't want it to tear. We're hoping it's just a cramp and I can play tomorrow.

I was just taking what they were giving me. On pick-and-rolls they were loose and I was able to get in the lane and make things happen.
care guys positive rebuilding stay stick together
Going through rebuilding is always tough, I don't care where you are or who you are, it is always tough. It is important for those guys to stick together and stay positive if that is possible.
