This is a huge loss. Eddie was a wonderful, fun-loving human being. Eddie was a consummate performer.
Some people take us a little too seriously. Those who don't get it are like, oh my God, what are they doing?
I don't know of any performer that's worked for MGM or any other major studios who thinks he has, in some way, some right to ownership of films he's done.
So, I don't know why Bret would think that he should have some right to ownership or right to usage of videotape, which is no different than any actor who performs in any sitcom or television show.
That crossover of whether it's entertainment or news is the biggest crock of b.s. in television today, because it's all entertainment.
Obviously, we've got some time problems with doing a Pay-Per-View outside the country.
Again, I think there are individuals who I'd like to meet in a dark alley somewhere and have some fun with them only because they are liars and cowards.
We tried to do something, we couldn't do anything.
You do have to delegate as you grow.
You have some years that are very good, and some years that aren't quite as good.
I have balls the size of grapefruits and come this Sunday, you'll be spitting out the seeds.
You need to surround yourself with quality human beings that are intelligent and have a vision.
I'm Vince McMahon, dammit, let's hear it!
Giving it to the audience is probably the easiest thing. Finding out what they truly want is probably the most difficult.
