brian chris cruz days few guys missed needs time tough
It's tough for guys like Jacob Cruz and Brian Buchanan. Quinton McCracken has missed a lot of time and needs some at-bats, so Chris may be with us for a few days or a whole season.

almost david defensive far good pitching
We like David Ross. He's a very good defensive catcher. It's almost like pitching - you can never have enough catching. There aren't any predetermined things here as far as the roster goes.
bottom guided line support
We'll see how he reacts. We'll be guided by how he feels. The bottom line is we'll do what we have to do to support Vern.
