I feel it's been a very productive spring training for me. Things kick in when you're facing major-league hitters and you're pitching in front of 40,000 to 50,000 people.

I don't want to suggest to anybody that it will work for them, but it has worked for me,

I don't want to sound arrogant, but that's probably like six times that Bill and I have done this through the course of our relationship at the end of games, where it's been that play where it's do or basically die and they come to me. We've done pretty well.

I don't write huge books any more. I used to write 1,000 printed pages, but now I write short books. I did one on Napoleon, 50,000 words - enjoyed doing that. He was a baddie. I did one on Churchill, which was a bestseller in New York, I'm glad to say. 50,000 words. He was a goodie.
