I'm here as an infielder and a ballplayer and wherever they put me in, that's where I'll be. Second base is my spot and that's what I'll compete for in the spring and hopefully there will be enough people who want to see the shortest infield combination in baseball.

He was put in a situation where he's had an opportunity to play a lot, and his confidence is growing. I commend him for it. This is a tough league. You've got to be mentally prepared, physically prepared. You have to be tough. He's playing all that for the most part, it seems like.
