I had a dilemma. (Robert) Ferguson kept telling me to change the play in the huddle to a go route. But I couldn't do that.

You talk all the time about being connected, being a unit, believing in each other. But if you have unnamed sources, people out there cutting you down, and then you find out it's the person calling the plays - that would be really hard to deal with, to look at him the same way.

I didn't expect to play at all this season, but I thank Brett for giving us such a big lead, ... Someone asked me if I was nervous before I went in. I was like, 'We're up 45-3, what do I have to be nervous about?' It was a lot of fun out there.

It was a bad throw. I kind of separated (from the rush) and tried to bring it back together. I was in between hitches and just threw a really bad ball. There's no excuse for that.

It'd be nice to get a couple warmup throws, but I went out there cold-turkey. And that's what a backup needs to do - be ready at any time. On this team, with Brett Favre in charge, that doesn't happen much, but if I am the No. 2 guy, I'll definitely be ready.

I don't think God cares a whole lot about the outcome. He cares about the people involved, but I don't think he's a big football fan.
