I try to be as courteous as possible and sometimes try to tell my fans that as much as I appreciate their support, there are times where I need to be able to have an uninterrupted dinner or not have to take a bunch of pictures or just be able to do some of the normal things.

I think after the game it was mostly frustration - not playing as well as I'd like to, not executing like I know I can. You can see in practice, I've had a real good camp. It's just a matter of transferring that into the game.

It'd be nice to get a couple warmup throws, but I went out there cold-turkey. And that's what a backup needs to do - be ready at any time. On this team, with Brett Favre in charge, that doesn't happen much, but if I am the No. 2 guy, I'll definitely be ready.

The only thing it means to me is my good pre-season didn't go unnoticed. I've still got to get better each day. My goal is to be No. 1. Obviously, it's not going to happen for a few years.
