energy great takes whatever
We defend, we rebound, we play unselfishly, we do whatever it takes to win. We have a great energy level, high-intensity guys.
choice defending program taught whipped
I wouldn't say Anthony whipped him, but he taught him. You're defending Anthony Roberson every day, and there's probably no better scorer that's come through this program than Peep. When you're defending him every day, you have no choice but to get better.
bunch guys older
I would say they have their own style. They have a bunch of older guys, guys my age. They're going to know what they're doing. They've been around.
ability counting critical perform team
You just have to go in there and just play. When you go in, your team is counting on you, especially in a critical situation. You have to go in there and perform to your ability not to let the team down.
feels good
It feels good to contribute, but if feels even better winning. As long as we come out with the win, I'm happy.
blown thick
We still haven't been blown out. We're right in the thick of things.
four hard physical practice
We always get better in practice because we have four strong, physical guys. It's got to be real hard to play against.
destroy
He used to destroy us the whole year.
against four heck played
Heck of a play by a heck of a player. I've played against him four years and he's been doing that for four years.
basketball confidence correct good
Confidence is never a problem. We're a very good basketball team. We know what we need to correct to make things happen.
beat earlier emphasis physical practice pushed
Earlier in the year, that's how they beat us, being more physical than we were. That was an emphasis in practice this week, that we weren't going to be pushed around; that we could be just as physical as they were. It worked.
ask
You're going to ask the same thing, but go ahead.
care count fighters kentucky tournament
You never can count Kentucky out for dead. I don't care if they go 0-10 in the SEC, they're still going to make the tournament and they're still going to do well in the tournament because that's Kentucky. They're fighters and scrappers with a lot of heart.
We really don't like each other when we're practicing.
