business classy gets improving keeps
He keeps improving more and more. He's just a classy horse. He's all business when he gets to the track.
inside looked room sure turn
When we made it to the turn I looked down inside and didn't see any room there. So I went out and she was much the best. I sure like her.
loose track
He was so relaxed; he made the track look fast. The track was loose but he still went 1:12 1/5, just breezing. He was real happy.
bit fast grabbed nice quiet sand saturday works
He was real quiet the first part of the work. He got a lot of sand in his face. He grabbed the bit a little at the 4 1/2, but then he went nice and easy. I wanted to keep him relaxed. We don't need fast works now. We want to be fast on Saturday the sixth.
mind squeeze won
He really won it very easy. That's what I had in my mind, not to squeeze him.
horses
He toyed with those horses and did it so easy.
case fighting fights-and-fighting lacking race rank
He was too fresh. He was so rank the first part of the race and I was fighting him. It was just a case of him lacking experience, that's all.
amazing carry heard horse took
My horse heard him and took off running. I said, 'God, this is incredible.' It's amazing a horse can carry that kind of speed.
far fast horse job left liked quarter running surprised swing
I was surprised at how far back he was. I would have liked to have been a lot closer, but they were running fast so I left him alone. I let the horse do his own running. At the quarter pole, he was flying, so I had to swing him out into the clear, and he got the job done.
bit pulled
She stumbled a little bit (at the start) and was lugging out a little bit the whole way. Hopefully, she pulled up OK.
amazing goes keeps week
It was very amazing. Every week that goes by, he keeps amazing me more and more.
god good great hold stays
I just had to hold on. He's just a good horse. He'll do some great things. God willing, he stays healthy.
hit
I never hit him down the stretch. He was cruising.
horses smart
He toyed with those horses and did it so easily. He is a very smart horse. You can do anything with him.
