We had a lot of discussion on our young core group and guys that will need more time in the Minors and guys that we have an interest in pursuing as free agents.

We thought Buck would come into his own in the second half of last season. We really didn't see that. So, offensively, it's an important year for him. No doubt about it.

We're better. If you want to gauge it, you gauge it at the end of the season. As long as we stay healthy, we're a better club.

We definitely have an interest and we are pursuing it. I do not get the feeling that anything is imminent.

We've got to stick with our plan. We have no other alternative. We feel like we have some good, young players.

We're still in a developmental stage, but we said we need to see some results. We want to start turning projection into production. We're looking for more results.
alex few good high player rodriguez saw wants
Very few times do you see a player who you can say he can be as good as he wants to be. Literally. I saw Alex Rodriguez in high school, and you could say it about him. That's what I think about Carlos.
