I was like a kid in a candy store. It felt like the first game of the season because I was excited to be back.
keep his head up, that it would all work out.
John is going to feel bad because of the situation. Probably he will react to something not that serious because of the situation.
I talked to him before the game, and I asked him why in some games he is not aggressive, and some games he is. He gave me an excuse, and I didn't buy it. Andre is not selfish at all, but he has to be selfish in that sense, to try and get shots up, because we need him to.
We just believed in each other, got defensive stops when we needed them and executed our offense. We were able to make something happen.
We just cracked. We had this game. We're not supposed to lose that one. I would rather get blown out.
You just have to want to do it. I don't know how but I know that it has to be done. I know if we get frustrated and start turning on each other that it is only going to get worse.
We can score on anybody. But we have to focus on defense. They were just outworking us. Everybody has to step up, period, for us to be a better team.
Steve set the tone for them and everyone else just followed.
My shot felt good from the beginning of the game to the end.
Looking back on everything that happened with me and coach, 99 percent of the time it was my fault. I see that now, definitely. ... Now that he's gone, you understand you lost a lot.
That was my fault. Basically it was just good defense and I made a bad play.
It felt terrible but I was glad I played all the way through so I didn't have to sit down and have it stiffen up. It stiffened up real bad at halftime but I managed to get through it.
It felt like it was the first game of the season. It was just fun to be back out there and be in the environment and playing with my team and trying to help.
