She's going to be our No. 1 fan. I'm sure it's going to be tough on her for a while to see things from the other side. She'll always be a sounding board to me. But I think she also understands and she's excited to see how the girls respond to me as a coach.

When I met with the team I told them this is not a step back or even a step sideways this is a step forward for the program. Naturally I've modeled a lot of my style from Coach Brose because I am a product of this system. I'm excited to see what we can do and see how the girls respond. I think we all have that competitive fire and I'm anxious to see what we can do with it.
