I'm definitely pleased with the way he ran. He went out with Davis who is one of the best runners in the area and gave it his all.

I always expect a little better than that. But I'm proud of the girls for stepping it up. It's a tough course so I knew times would be a little slower.

They've been doing everything I've asked of them. I'm pushing them hard and they are responding well. Hopefully it's just early season jitters right now.

There's definite improvement all the way across the board. We're still trying to develop some endurance. We didn't have a real good summer as far as training.
beat course davis home hung knew man miles tough
We wanted to try to go out with Dustin Davis to see what we could do. We knew this was his home course and it would be tough to beat the man in his own backyard. He hung for about two miles but Dustin was too much.
