The injury is a day-to-day thing and that is the way he is approaching it. We will see how it goes. He is hurting and he is sore and it is going to be a fight to get him in there Sunday.
I knew he was hurt. It wasn't nearly as bad (Monday) night when he was playing as it was when he woke up (Tuesday) morning. It kind of stiffened up on him. He felt comfortable playing. He never said a word about it. He just went out and did his thing.
He was hurt before he left and is still bothered by that groin. It's not near as bad as it was, but I don't want to take any chances. It would be nonproductive.
I'm sure (injuries) hurt him there a bit. He was battling through it. It was not an easy thing for him.
He did what a lot of players did. There are a lot of players who are hurt. He was just one of them today. That's part of playing in this league. You're going to hurt a little bit, and you've got to function.
I thought about it, yes. There was a point where he was hurting after he took a hit. He tried to run and he took a hit. So I thought about it.
They're just not right yet. We will give them this next week and see how they do. Tra has been cleared to play, so that is a positive and he did practice. He practiced very hard. He will work through it next week and we will see how he does.
Brian Westbrook is truly deserving of this prestigious honor, ... The statistics he put up during his Villanova career are simply amazing. ... He is truly a once in a lifetime player.
He was not able to push off. The calf was very tight.
That's a shame. He's had some tough luck.
I like this game right here. I like it because it gives me an opportunity to see what I have outside the first unit. It gives them their last crack at making this football team.
I take care of those things in-house. I obviously will address the player and those people I need to talk to and work this thing out.
He can play either side. He was a starter all his years at Georgia. When you see him, you will see he has a little size to him.
He is going to most likely miss this week and we will see how it heals up.
