Her father Georg Friesinger, of Germany, and mother JaninaKorowicka, of Poland, were both skaters; Jana was on the Polish team at the 1976 Winter Olympics. Her brother Jan is also a speed skater. bronze close gold lost won
It was so close to the gold medal. I don't feel I lost a gold medal. To me, I won a bronze medal.
