I am trying to attend every training session and do all of my workouts.
Many track and field people know that if I stay relaxed and run my race like I'm supposed to, I will be the winner at the Olympic Games.
It makes me feel like a brother, or a son that people still care for me... that I have so many fans, who write to me and share with me that I am loved and have been an inspiration. My Dear Fans This I Promise I Will Never Forget. One Love!
I should just stay composed and run to the finish line.
I was quite nervous out there. I haven't been on the (Melbourne) track for almost a year now, so I need the confidence. But I'm the world record holder and I had to prove that I am.
I was only following instructions, my coach told me to run the first 50m and then take it easy.
In the final tomorrow we will make one change (Chris Williams coming in) on the third leg and I think that will boost up the team a little more.
I'm really happy for the guys that they were able to get a gold medal.
I'm real proud of her ... a Jamaican double is great. It felt good.
I'll be there and we will win the relay gold for sure,
If I thought about (the record), I would have broken it but the key is to have fun. (The fans) are crazy out here. It's like I was in Jamaica. I'm excited to see the people. The fans are what fuel me.
I felt that I am not yet ready and that I would not post a good time. It is frustrating to not be able to run. Because I knew after my performance in Athens that I could have pushed the world record in this season even further.
I felt that I am not yet ready and that I would not post a good time,
I don't think anyone can really dominate. By running 9.77sec this year, I did something no one has ever done. A lot of people would like to have that world record and I'm sure that includes Justin Gatlin.
