It might be one of the last sprint relays we do together. To finish it with an Olympic medal, I'm not going to say it was surreal. We promised each other we wouldn't get too fruity at the end of this.

There were points in the race I thought I had it. But you never know how the other people are going to come into these races, what kind of shape they're in. We did that long uphill three times and I just didn't have the legs for it. When I started, I was feeling great, very excited and ready to go.

I did have a brief flash of 'Oh no, not now, not here.' In a way it was a huge setback. It meant a little extra double poling for me at the start of my leg. But fortunately ... it wasn't insurmountable.
