I'm glad we got that win. That's a tough, hard-nosed team that came in determined to beat us on our home court. We were fortunate to come away with a victory.
I'm not buying it. I grew up in Southern California. I'm not buying into (the notion) that has to be the image of L.A.
That was a great gut-check win for our team, our program. We are happy, but we want to win our next game (Saturday at Stanford to win the title outright).
Our trainer did a good job snapping it right back into place.
Our transition defense was so good. It had to be because Memphis is so good at pushing it.
I thought that in the first 10 minutes we came out a little tight. In the last 30 minutes, we were terrific.
I thought our intensity defensively for the entire 40 minutes was really, really incredible. That's the best defense we've played all year.
We played terrific tonight. It was our best defense of the year.
I'm so happy for our guys. I'm most glad we're Pac-10 champions. We decided it ourselves. We don't have to wait for anybody and get in backdoor. Any time you win a championship it's special.
