board joey listen plays
That's Joey being Joey. It's fun. I want to listen too. He can give them all the 'bulletin board material' he wants. It's going to come down to who makes the plays on Sunday.
biggest challenge game time year
It's going to be a challenge for us. We're going to have to get this game, but it's a long season. We'll take it one game at a time and it's the biggest game of the year for us.
leadership
the leadership I bring, the will to win.
balanced coming couple last prove season stops throw throwing won
Everyone always said coming into the end of the season that if we had to throw the ball, if someone stops the run, then we won't be able to win. But in the last couple games, we have won by throwing the ball. We can prove that we are a balanced offense.
handle sure
Obviously, Tommy can handle this team, ... but I'm going to make sure that I'm out there.
confidence football game good guys job knew plan ready regular season today
I had confidence in the guys and I had confidence in myself. I knew that when the regular season got here, and we were ready to go out and game plan and really play football when it mattered, we'd be OK. I think today we showed that we did a pretty good job - especially on offense.
bowl forty good great might shirt size small super
I think an XL shirt might be a little too small for Jerome, but Super Bowl Forty is a good size for him. It's just a great opportunity.
earn
As long as we win. That's how you earn your money, by winning.
advice best cbs dan drive ends football game good jets kick lose losing opportunity smart trying win
I feel that I'm not losing the game for our team. I'm trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports' Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive.
apologize cry glad
I'm glad I didn't have to cry and apologize to him again.
compare compared everybody honor obviously people phenomenal player tough trying
People are always trying to compare quarterbacks and that's tough to do because everybody is his own quarterback and own person. Tom's obviously a phenomenal quarterback, player and person, so that's an honor to be compared to him.
fall last looked ready
He looked like he was about ready to fall asleep. That's how I was last year.
dropping guy looking normally people playing sitting throwing
They started throwing people all over the place, ... You're sitting there looking at it, and a guy that's normally a linebacker is playing safety, he's dropping deep.
balanced couple last offense people proven remain sure throw took win
A lot of people said that if we have to throw the ball, we can't win the game. Myself, the line, we took offense of that. The last couple weeks, we've proven that's not the case. We have to keep going and make sure we remain a balanced offense like we have been doing.
