good happen prevent seems
I was in pretty good shape. I don't know how you could prevent it. It seems like it could happen at any time.
chance days five four pitch sunday
I think there's a chance in five days, but there's four days in between. We'll see how everything feels. I'd like to pitch Sunday in New York.
stuff trying worried
You ain't going to have your 'A' stuff every time. I was worried about trying to get an out. I didn't get many outs, but I was trying.
drive matter missed parents point situation special
My parents were here. They never missed any of my opening-day starts. It didn't matter where I was playing. So they made it a point to drive here. In this situation for me, that's really special to me.
felt great wish won
It felt great to be back out there. I just wish we would have won the game.
care pitching takes
We'll see where that takes us. If I'm pitching, I'm pitching - I don't care where. I want to pitch in the big leagues, ultimately.
ball feeling felt five good last three throwing
I felt real good and thought I could get three more outs, ... I have been feeling good the last five starts. Even in Colorado, I felt I was throwing the ball well.
felt finish good location trying
I felt good. I think my stuff's there. It's just the location I'm trying to finish out. It was a good step.
balls felt finally helps strong toward
I finally located some balls, which helps you get outs. I felt strong toward the end.
good
Everything's going good right now -- really good.
glad time
There's a first time for everything. I'm glad it was this time.
bottom days fifteen matter might
Pretty slim, bottom line. Fifteen days of nothing. It doesn't matter if you're better after that or not. It might be better, might not.
evaluate good hit liked next ripped step tough
They ripped me a bit. I would have liked to hit 96 at the end, but I'll get stronger. It's tough to evaluate on 49 pitches. But it was a good step to get to the next step.
close
There wasn't any discomfort. I think I'm getting close to getting back.
