deal situation tough unless
It's different for everybody. Everybody's just different. It's just a tough situation to deal with. You don't want to play unless you're ready.
beat force guys hard pick shortcuts sign tough
I didn't know anything about it, but I think that's a sign of consistency. We go out and play hard every night, not take shortcuts and we usually don't pick up fouls. We keep guys off the line, force them to take tough shots, force them to beat you, not beat yourself.
everybody hurt ready
Everybody is hurt and disappointed right now. But everybody is going to come back ready to play.
chance city detroit exciting four game good rip
It's going to be good to look out and see someone that you know, and get a chance to see Chauncey and Rip in that first game for the first time. That will be exciting for them. It's going to be good for the whole team. It's going to be good for the city of Detroit to look up at that All-Star Game and see all four Pistons out there.
game great remember three
It's a great experience, being able to come down here ... with three of my teammates. I think this is an all-star game we're going to remember for a long time.
behind learn life past
No regrets. I never live with regrets. You just put the past behind you and live with it. And I think if you have regrets, you really don't learn lessons. It's a life lesson, you learn from the past. You just keep on moving, so that's what I do.
continue everybody knows nobody wants
Nobody wants to see us play. Everybody already knows what we do. But it's cool. But they got no choice, (as) long as we continue to win.
business came care control game supposed
It is what it is. We had control of the game and then it went out of hand. We didn't take care of business when we supposed to and that's what it came to.
fall might paper plays together wait
You've just got to wait and see how it plays out. If it comes together like they put it down on paper it'll be a great. But if not, it might fall apart.
basket control knew options second shoot third
They were able to penetrate and get to the basket early. But in the fourth, we got stops. We were able to make them go to their second and third options and shoot over us. We knew if we could get the stops, we could take control of the game.
ball deep great job larry number places rick standing throwing unless wrinkles
Larry 'let' me be a part of the offense? ... That was deep right there. When I'm on the floor, I've got to be part of the offense. There's just no other way to have it. I think Larry did a great job of throwing little wrinkles out there. He called my number here and there and got me the ball in places where I can be effective. If I'm out on the floor, I'm going to be part of the offense. Unless it's Rick Carlisle, and I'm just standing around.
continue energy focus hard wasted win work
All that hard work is nothing if we don't continue to play the way we've played. Everybody's focus here is to win a championship. If we don't take that energy into the playoffs, it'd be a wasted season.
ball eating energy games happy help sideline sitting team wanting watching
A big ball of energy. I'm happy to see him back out there. I know it was probably eating him up, sitting on the sideline and watching games and wanting to be out there. It's going to help the team a whole lot, especially with the energy boost.
carried carry seems step until
Chauncey has been big all season, and he carried us today. Every game, if we are struggling, someone seems to step up and carry us until we get going again.
