Luckily, we've had an outpouring of those who have called and said they'd be happy to provide housing. We have a list of 40-50 places, some individual renters, some from local hotels.
practice
The evacuation went smoothly. We practice it all the time.
building built exactly performed
It was just an unfortunate accident, but the building performed exactly how it was built to perform.
open until volunteers
We'll need a lot of volunteers to open their homes. We won't place any of those until after May 1 when we know who is certified for the ride.
groups sending stuff wanting
There are a lot of non-profit organizations that are wanting to find a way to make money. A lot of vendor-type stuff and entertainment. We've had a lot of groups sending their CDs.
