I shall fully describe the object of knowledge, knowing which one attains immortality.
again behold creation deluded entire knowing knowledge shall
Knowing that, O Arjuna, you shall not again get deluded like this. By this knowledge you shall behold the entire creation in your own Self/Lord, or in Brahman.
attitude complete freed good shall
By this attitude of complete renunciation you shall be freed from the bondage, good and bad, of Karma. You shall be liberated, and come to Me.
explain fully knowing known remains self-knowledge shall together
I shall fully explain to you the Self-knowledge together with Self-realization after knowing that nothing more remains to be known in this world.
cause confusion shall
I shall be the cause of confusion and destruction of all these people.
cease exist kings nor shall time
There was never a time when I, you, or these kings did not exist; nor shall we ever cease to exist in the future.
desire fulfill gained mine shall wealth
This has been gained by me today, I shall fulfill this desire, this is mine and this wealth also shall be mine in the future.
armies cease shall standing warriors
Even without your participation all the warriors standing arrayed in the opposing armies shall cease to exist.
dear earth pleasing service shall
No other person shall do a more pleasing service to Me, and no one on the earth shall be more dear to Me.
alone attain eternal grace peace refuge seek shall supreme
Seek refuge in Him alone with all your heart, O Arjuna. By His grace you shall attain supreme peace and the eternal abode.
cross knowledge ocean raft shall sin sinful
Even if one is the most sinful of all sinners, yet one shall cross over the ocean of sin by the raft of knowledge alone.
compel due ego nature resolve shall yours
If due to ego you think: I shall not fight; this resolve of yours is vain. Your own nature will compel you.
born deluded ignorance noble perform rich shall thus
I am rich and born in a noble family. I am the greatest. I shall perform sacrifice, I shall give charity, and I shall rejoice. Thus deluded by ignorance
act considers fire poured realized shall
Brahman is the oblation. Brahman is the clarified butter. The oblation is poured by Brahman into the fire of Brahman. Brahman shall be realized by the one who considers everything as (a manifestation or) an act of Brahman.
