god unto
Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
against resisted sin striving unto
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
generation pass shall till unto verily
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
sin therefore
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
anguish fame hands hath heard hold taken wax woman
We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
howl men miseries rich shall weep
Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
garments riches
Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
exceeding gold himself increase manner pleasant precious riches
And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels; / Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.
bag count deceitful full house measure men pure rich shall spoken tongue treasures wickedness
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable? / Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights? / For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
affinity honour joined riches
Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.
eyes man poor rich sees wise
A rich man may be wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has discernment sees through him
battle bread chance favor men neither nor race riches saw time
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all
crown doth endure grass hay herbs mountains riches tender
For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? / The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
accused certain man rich unto wasted
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
