high level played
He's really played at a high level all year.
comfort level
I think the comfort level he's at, to me, is the most important thing, and that's very evident.
comfort control design intended level offense plays question understanding year
I think you'll find in any second-year player, his comfort level is much greater. There's no question he's more comfortable with our offense and understanding the plays and the design of the plays and where they're intended to go. Consequently, he's much more in control of the huddle than he was a year ago.
adverse allowing composure crossed emotional fine half happened last level line lose lost move second settled
There's a fine line between going in there and being emotional and allowing it to have an adverse effect, which I think happened to us last week. We settled down more in the second half of that game, but we lost our composure at times. I don't want us to lose our emotion, but we can't lose our composure. There's a fine line and at times we kind of crossed that, but we have to play with that same emotion, that same level of desperation or else we are not going to move on.
experience given level member nice player valuable
He is a very valuable member of our team. Given the scenario, it's nice to have a player like that with the experience he has who can play at the level he can.
brought concerned guys high level loss step sustain
I'm very much concerned with the loss of leadership. Not just what they brought on the field, but off it in their own ways. We have other guys who know they have to step up and sustain that high level of play.
bit expectation level revealed saw
I told him he revealed another gear. I saw something where now I can set another level of expectation that's a little bit higher.
parker unable willie
If Jerome is unable to go, Willie Parker will start,
adjustment approach bit both face game goes planning second sides sure time
The first time you face someone, you are not sure how they are going to approach you on both sides of the ball. I think the second time through, you have a better sense of what they are about. So there is a little bit of adjustment that goes into the game planning on both sides of the ball.
prepared ride
I'm prepared to latch on to his coattails and ride him for a long time.
defined journey mean people telling
There's a lot of people telling you that you can't do it but, you know what, that doesn't mean you don't go try. Don't let your journey be defined by history, let your journey make history.
exceeded field gained gives guy guys stands yard
For every yard that he's gained on the field, this guy, in my mind, has exceeded that off the field ? the kind of guy he is, the way he gives back and what he stands for. I've never been around too many guys like that.
throw
You can take away the run, if you want to, but then if you do that, Peyton will throw for 300 or 400 yards.
anymore effort good great heck hopefully individual super trying
He's a heck of an athlete. He really is a very good athlete. He was just trying to make a play, and he made a play. It was a great individual effort on his part. It was a great tackle. It was a super play on his part. Hopefully he won't have to do anymore of that.
