For the Panama Canal a couple of years ago we did a balcony, since there is more to see and there were six ports of call in 12 days. Most of our cruises, we have stayed in a cabin with a window just to get the feel of a larger room and to check the weather before going out.
It's a huge organization that's trying to get a grip on its own problems.
