William Paul McCartneyis a former American football player and coach and the founder of the Promise Keepers men's ministry. He was the head football coach at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1982 to 1994, where he compiled a record of 93–55–5 and won three consecutive Big Eight Conference titles between 1989 and 1991.
