They're no different than any other athlete. There was no momentum at that point. The team could have deflated itself, and it didn't. When she hit that vault, that was huge.

I really didn't know what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The freshmen are really starting to gain confidence, and the upperclassmen are showing them the way.

I am really pleased with the level of gymnastics we are doing and where we are in this point of the season.

We are really working on the perfecting part of the sport. Sometimes it takes months to fine-tune.

What makes me so proud is that those whose names are honored have gone on to such good things. They are so much more than gymnasts.
