Robert Hartleyis a hockey coach who was most recently the head coach for the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League. He coached the Colorado Avalanche from 1998–2002, a period during which he won the Stanley Cup. He also coached the Atlanta Thrashers from the 2003–04 NHL season up until the beginning of the 2007–08 NHL season, when he was fired after the Thrashers got off to an 0–6 start. This chapter taught about the right, hopeful "Hearing Aids" that would enable His Hope Craftsmen to hear His voice and become a company of hopeful Kingdom hearers.

In a recent dream, God revealed to me a door leading us into four new hopes that will prepare us to be like those who were healed and strengthened in hope and able to stand when the lightning bolt hit. We deal with these fissures of hopelessness by stepping into these new hopes. The four new hopes that I saw the Lord giving us in this time are: Hope for the Unseen, Hope Against Hope, Carefree Hope, and Childlike Hope.

Then I saw a small dark dot enter the lower left corner of the vision. It floated up a ways and then suddenly disappeared. The Lord authoritatively announced, "That dot represents all the evil of all beings and of all history combined. It's temporary and fleeting compared to Who I Am. So what are you going to magnify?"
dream prayer leader
I dreamed there would be a time to come together to "build out the Hope Reformation that would bring certain shifts to the leaders in the Body of Christ." In this dream, I saw the buildings of revival and prayer and there was some divine activity that was good and needed and foundational for what God was doing on the earth.

Sometimes you have to go outside your boundaries. You have to jump over that fence, but I always felt very comfortable (in my jobs) because I worked with some good people.

Then the Lord said, "This is the year of crazy, substantial hope." Then I saw many sitting around the Table of the Lord whom He was about to address. There was such communion, love, and honor. Then the Lord took His place at the Table. I was overwhelmed with the presence of the Lord. He was so alive. He was so much fun. But He made it very clear that this year the Body of Christ was being evaluated in their hope.

... I had a dream where I was taken to Heaven and brought into a beautiful library. There I was given two golden books that were covered with dust. The Lord told me they were golden treasure that was needed for the Body of Christ to have the knowledge to proceed and succeed in this hour.
