I'm very proud of helping to bring about the three-class system in South Dakota. It provides options for more players to be seen, more opportunities for players, cheerleaders, bands and cheering sections.

I really enjoyed it when my kids were playing. Central was leading 70-54 and my son John comes into the game. At that point, he scored 20 points in the remaining time and Sturgis beat 75-74. I was doing the game with Verne Shepperd and it was just a very special memory for me.
