I just got an e-mail from a woman in Red Deer, Alberta reporting that she saw one up there. We have a few members who live where they will see them but so far, no reports. But just because nobody has reported them, doesn't mean they haven't seen them.

The interesting thing is we have fledged 173,000-plus bluebirds in the last 10 years. It took a long time to get this going, but it seems now that there are more and more in more and more places.

Somebody is going to see (a bluebird) some place and somebody will see one a few days later somewhere else and then a week after that happens we get phone calls from all over the place. Usually that happens about the first week of March.
