came felt game reports rest saw walk
I saw him walk in and he said he felt pretty decent. I don't know where reports of a high-ankle sprain came from. I don't think he would have been able to play like he did the rest of the game if he had a high-ankle sprain.
best career incredible jason knows
Jason knows what's best for him. If that's what he has to do, he's had an incredible career here.
best sharp
We need to do our best to be as sharp as we can. I think that's the frustrating part for us,
coming eight guys reading starters
I keep reading about all the guys they have coming back, ... We have 10 starters coming back on offense, eight on defense.
good great national strong teams won
So for me, being here, it's OU-Texas, ... It's two good teams that have won national championships. They have a great and strong tradition. And they have traditionally been nationally ranked.
across maybe mean tune
Disappointed across the board, definitely. I told the players, 'Just because you had it before doesn't mean you're going to do it again.' Maybe they tune me out.
career decided extra good move possibly successful sure wants whatever work
I'm sure possibly all the extra work probably could be bothersome to him healthwise, and he just decided he wants to move on. Good for him. He'll have a successful career in whatever he does.
bit gave guess mad plenty pride wearing worry yard
Once, he was a little mad that we only gave him one yard on a run. I said, 'Don't' worry about it. You'll get plenty of yards.' I guess that was a way to keep his pride a little bit while wearing blue.
both played quite surprised
That surprised me, ... I thought they both would have reacted better and played better. There were some opportunities there, but we just couldn't quite get it right.

attention attract media players program success
With the success of our program and the media attention we have received, we feel we can attract players from all over the country.
anybody bad explain front further goes mark pop shocked sit
I have no idea why Mark would have done that. I was as shocked as anybody in the stadium. How do you explain that? I don't know. That goes back to Pop Warner football. Mark should have made a better decision. I'm not going to sit here and go any further in front of the whole media, but it's as bad a play as there is.
country five guys knew number playing proud scratch six team
It kind of just typifies our whole year, having to scratch and claw through it all. It's not always easy. We were playing the number five or six team in the country and we knew it was going to be tough, so I'm proud of the way our guys did compete.
ball game guys turn
This game isn't real complicated, in that if you turn the ball over you're going to get beat. Those guys (quarterbacks) each need to be more responsible with the ball.
