beach competition fields great hurt weather
I think that the competition is very solid. That, coupled with the great fields and the weather (makes it appealing). And the beach doesn't hurt either.

Our attack is in very good hands with David, Matthew and Scott. We're going to score, but we have to make sure we get it done in the back. We lost a lot of our defense.

We're going to get a gauge of where we're at and what we need to work on.

We just thank God for a blessed season and keeping us safe.
camps ninety percent players throughout
Ninety percent of my varsity players have been to one of my camps throughout their youth. I think that makes a difference.

Our defense has done well this year. I've been pleased with our progress there.

Our defense was solid all game. The guys were a little disappointed they did not keep the sheet clean (and allowed a goal), but a 5-1 win is pretty nice.

They play in a really tough region. They beat Fayette and played some other teams tough, too.

I think our defense is pretty tenacious and they don't give up many cheap goals.

It was fun, the guys did well. I was really pleased with the second unit that came in and got a couple goals at the end.
lost none playoffs seniors state win
None of our seniors have ever lost a first-round game, but I've been around long enough to have lost in the first round. Every win in the state playoffs is to be enjoyed.

The first half was extremely physical. Richmond Academy plays hard, and we played very hard. Certain matches are going to get physical. This one did. We have skillful players who can get physical if they need to, and Richmond Academy does, too.
athlete athletics difficult player soccer
It's difficult to really take an athlete and make him into a soccer player in 10 practices.
