friday guys injury played throw thursday treat
Jason's got an injury that guys have played with in the past. We're going to treat him through the week, and try to let him throw Thursday and Friday and see if he can go Saturday.
feeling good handle houston looked offensive oregon points threw unable unprepared
Which, as many times as they threw it (49), is impressive. They've got to be feeling good about their offensive line. Houston looked like they were unable or unprepared to handle all the things Oregon threw at them. The 38 points could've been a lot more.
benefit field good guys onto program walk watching
Jake's a good tackler. That's how guys who walk onto your program find their way onto the field, and that's the benefit of going live out here and watching them play.
best deep excited good group losing played players run senior
We are excited about this group, and the best thing about it is that they are still young; we don't have one senior in that group. Losing Shane MacIntyre is going to be a blow. The group of players has played a whole bunch. We're deep there, they all run well, and they have good size. The more reps they have the better they are going to become.
develop group needs offensive position tight
Tight end is another position where we are young. I kind of group them with the offensive line. That's a position we need to develop and it needs to come along.
near time
The one time they did get down near our end zone, we just weren't going to let them in.
ahead came days eight practice relatively schedule sharp spring work
We came out of our first eight days of spring practice relatively healthy. We're not as sharp as we need to be, but I really like our work ethic. I think we are ahead of schedule at this point.
celebrate corner playing receiver work
He was covered. It's double-edged - when you're playing yourself, you'd like to see the corner make the play and the receiver make the catch. Now you celebrate the receiver and then you get back to work with the corner.
couple everybody except guys spring
We've got a couple guys hurt, but we'll be all right by the end of spring practice. We'll have everybody back except for Jeff.
adjust balance happens run
We'll have to run the ball. Balance has been our thing, and that will be our plan. We will adjust to what happens on defense.
fun guys nice
The receivers did a nice job. It was fun to see young guys get their first catches.
flat football four front handed handle lunch starts
We just had our lunch handed to us by a real talented, well-coached football team. We couldn't handle their front four on defense. It starts with them. We just flat couldn't handle them.
bunch last ready time
We weren't getting Cole ready to play last fall, so it wasn't like he got a bunch of reps. They pretty much had the same time (in the offense).
catch couple guy looked missed outside
We missed a couple of tackles, it looked like. It looked like we didn't get off a couple of blocks, and they got out on us. Our containment guy got a little out of position, and we let (Stewart) outside and we couldn't catch him.
