It gets us ready for everything in the world.
We've lost some games we should have won. But very rarely do we get beat by 20.
That was huge for them. And they kept that momentum into the third quarter.
When you are playing a team like that, it is tough to come back. You got to have enough legs to win the game. Burks and (forward Hakim) Warrick came in and played great but it wasn't quite enough.
You have to change in the playoffs. Even though we wanted to score, we knew we had to play at least some decent defense to have a chance to win the game. So we made a valiant effort.
We don't want to give teams easy baskets. That mindset is going to help us in the playoffs. It's who we are.
We shouldn't get into wrestling matches or trash-talking. In the playoffs, it's who plays the hardest.
We started this really for race relations, to bring people together from all races and to show that people can get along. Before the race we brought about this heritage house to promote unity.
We also sponsor the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday celebration every third Monday of January.
If it's going to help you, I don't see why (you can't use it). If you're wearing it for a fashion statement, I can see why the league might have a problem with it. Me, I wouldn't wear it if it didn't help.
He's deserving of it, man. He's a great guy, great coach, was a great player. People said he wouldn't win the championship with the San Antonio Spurs, and he proved them wrong.
He's definitely worthy of it. He's put up big number this year. He's a big part of why this team is successful and we're playing well.
What I've heard is that he doesn't have a lot of heart. If I don't like what I see, I'll say, 'Hey, you can't let guys run over you.'
What I've heard is he doesn't have a lot of heart.
