Robert Alan Johnsonis a retired American football coach and former player. He was most recently the head football coach at Vanderbilt University, a position he held from the 2002 season until his retirement in 2010. In December 2001, Johnson became the Commodores' head coach, after leading Furman University to the NCAA Division I-AA national championship game. You've got to know that you're going to see those kinds of teams every week in the SEC and see those kinds of athletes. To execute is certainly at a premium, and you've got to be able to do that. I don't think we have anything to be ashamed about, losing to LSU and Georgia. We just have to make sure that we play better.
