cars handful lane meaningful nearly unless victory
It is exciting. It is real meaningful if you are in Victory Lane with it. That is what we want to do. There are only a handful of cars that have that kind of meaning to it. Richard's car is one of them. But it isn't going to mean nearly as much unless you do something with it.
banking decent february handle hopefully improve less racetrack ran success track won
We've had some success at Fontana, but have never won there. It's a lot like Michigan, which is a track I really like, but the banking is a little less at California. I like the racetrack and, hopefully, we'll have some success there this weekend. We ran decent in February at Fontana, but we never really got a handle on the car. Hopefully we'll improve on that this week.
decent lap practice ran screwed
We ran a lap in practice that I screwed up on but will still ran a decent lap,
stock
We're going to be like the stock market. We're going to be up and down.
consistent forward happy longer looking race ran runs spend time tires trim truck turning
We are pretty good. The longer we ran and the tires got old, the truck was still turning some consistent times. I think we are going to race very well. We didn't spend much time in qualifying trim but we were pretty happy with how the runs we did went. I am looking forward to qualifying and then tomorrow's race.
regret winning race
I will always cherish the times at JGR. The only thing that I regret is that we didn't win more races and/or championships.
praying ifs
If you're going to hope for a change, you'd better start to pray for a change. If you're just hoping, you ain't going anywhere.
race track better-person
You learn how to be a better person not just on the [race] track, but all around.
sports passion thinking
The competition is a big part of it [racing] - the passion you have for the sport and the knowledge you have. You're not just going to wake up one day and say, " think I'll do something different." This is what I've done my whole life. My competitive nature and my passion for the sport, those are the things that keep you wanting to do better.
