cup good last stanley test time
We didn't play last year, but they're still the Stanley Cup champions. It's a good test every time we play them.
both hurt labor move problem time
Times have changed. It's time to move on. This labor problem hurt both sides, it hurt the game, but now we've got to move forward.
blame
The refs are under a microscope. So we can't blame them.
excitement goals
I'm all for change. It's about excitement and entertainment, right? The way to do that is with more goals and more scoring.
calls difference learn referee
You have to learn what you can and can't get away with. Every referee is a little difference in how he calls it, too.
guys losing stop streak
We wanted to stop our losing streak and the guys were up to the test.
agreement definitely deserve last owners win won
We weren't going to win this battle. They won the last time. This is definitely an owner-friendly agreement. The owners want to make money. And now, if they don't, they don't deserve to have a franchise.
against coaches good lines mold time top

both dangerous good gotten hockey home positive san seen strengths

And San Jose, with Thornton in the lineup, that makes them even more dangerous offensively. The good thing for us is we've seen Thornton a lot, so we know his strengths and weaknesses.
behind coming guy point react saw until
I just reacted and unfortunately I had to leave. I didn't know if (Parker) was behind me or not. I just saw a guy coming up over the glass. You just react at that point and you don't think about it until afterward.
game good helped rookie worked
It helped him to go to the minors. He went down, worked on his game and got his confidence. In his rookie year, he was a little gun-shy. It was all new for him, but now he's comfortable. . . . We have a good chemistry.
wonder
He's so calm, sometimes I wonder if he even has a pulse.
gotten positive talk time
Things could change, but I've gotten some positive feedback. I'd like to come back, and we'll talk when the time is right.
checking five four guys jobs line shut space time
The more time and space he has, the more he can make plays. You have to take that away from him, try to shut him down. But he's really good. It's also going to take a whole checking line and four or five guys doing their jobs.
