guys rally
They don't have to do it by themselves. There's the other 10 guys that rally around them.
coaches guys lifting spending talking time week worry
They've been there. They know what the hoopla is all about. They know how to go through the week and prepare. Now, the coaches don't have to worry about impressing what you need to know. Now, without even talking about it, you see guys spending more time on film or lifting more or communicating more.
college option run shoot week
I like the pureness of college football. You never know what you're going to see. You have the option one week and the run and shoot the next.
harder human human-nature matter taking team
It's human nature. The team that's got something to play for will always play harder than the team that doesn't have anything to play for. It's just a matter of going out there and taking it.
boy farm loves waking
He loves it, waking up at 4 in the morning, doing what he has to do, that's his life. You can take the boy off the farm, you just can't take the farm out of the boy.
bad bit call forgot handle hopefully hurt knows last phone pick problem scared sure though
I know how bad it hurt him not to be out there last year. Hopefully he'll handle it a little bit better this time. We're going to make sure that he knows we're here for him, and that he can still come around even though he's hurt. Don't be scared to pick up the phone and call one of us if he has a problem - because he's still part of this family. We don't want him to ever feel that just because he's not here every day, we forgot about him.
aggressive defense establish game good identity run stop
This is the identity we want. We want to run the ball, stop the run, play aggressive defense and just play our football. It was a good game to try to establish that.
ball came found moved needed played
You can't take nothing away from them. They came out and played hard. Rex found a little groove, and they moved the ball some. But when we needed a stop, we usually got it. And when we got the ball back for the offense, they usually did something with it.
gonna hog proud
That's the hog farmer, man, the hog farmer's gonna show up and play. For him to show the way he did - that's a blessing. I'm proud to say I'm his teammate.
dropped farther sort strong super year
The year we went to the Super Bowl, our D-line was so much better than our linebackers at the time. Our linebackers were so much better than our secondary. It's like, the farther you went back, it sort of like dropped off. But now it's strong all the way through.
bully chance face finally growing top
It's like growing up. You get slapped in the face by a bully for so long, that when you finally get your chance to be on top you want to spank him.
early eight looking name natural nine people second start
Early (in your career), it's natural you take it for granted. Oh, this is my first year, my second year, third, fourth. Then you start getting around eight and nine and you start looking at other rosters and there are not too many people that have nine and 10s after their name in experience.
double eric hope line running sound stay takes throwing
I don't know how we're going to do it because he's crazy, a double threat. You can say all you want about taking away the throwing option, but then he takes off and is running like Eric Dickerson. All you can do is go out there and line up, stay technically sound and hope for the best.
enjoy extremely game life minute next paid plan tells
But come Sunday, I get paid extremely well to go out there and play football, and that's what I plan to do. If anything, it tells you in life one minute you can have everything and the next it's gone. I'm going to go out and enjoy every game I get to play.
