It's obvious what kind of difference he can make. Even if he doesn't swing the bat, he steps in the batter's box and the pitcher's got to have 'What if?' in the back of his mind. ... You've got to respect the fact he's Barry Bonds even though he hasn't seen a pitch all year.

Basically, we have to win out. That's the mindset you have to have. You've got to win every game and sweep San Diego for sure.

That's got to be tough to move to a new position, but those three plays he made in the fourth were pretty amazing.

He gave me a chance in San Francisco, to come there, when I didn't have a lot on the table. Now it's good to come to Los Angeles and be a part of what he's trying to do.
