addressing camp degree entire forward happened legacy looking move needs proud reason spent start sure team
I'm sure it does to a degree for the players, ... I know it does for me, but you don't start camp with that mentality. We've spent an entire offseason addressing and looking very candidly at why that happened and addressing the reason for it. This team needs to move forward very aggressively. We're very proud of the legacy we have here, but this team's going to have a new identity, it really is. It's different than any team we've had.
buck correct course football goes stops
I am accountable for everything that goes on with this football team. I take that very personally. The buck stops here. I am accountable and am going to be the one that has to put us on a course to correct it.
correct course
I am accountable, ... and I am going to be the one that has to put us on a course to correct it.
impressive stories
He's one of the most impressive stories we have right now.
level offense period picked short tested
He's impressive, ... He's picked up the offense very well in a short period of time. He'll be tested on Saturday; it's a different level for him.
available pulled
He pulled up with a little soreness. We'll still see if he could be available on Sunday,
against choices commit draft five front gotta group order tall
Gotta do it. Gotta do it. And it's a tall order against a group that has five first-round draft choices in the front seven. It ain't going to be easy, but we've got to commit to it and we will.
linger means
For them to linger as long as they did, which usually means they don't have irrefutable evidence, and then to come out and say there was no possession. I'm just done with it.
blame chance compete great last lie lying miss players saw ticket time watch
If I'm a fan, I'm not going to miss that game. I'm not going to miss the chance to watch one of the great players of all time come out and compete live. I don't know if it will be his last game, but if it is, and you have a ticket and didn't go, you have no one to blame but yourself. You'll lie about it and say, 'Oh, I went. I saw Brett.' But you'll be a lying dog.
against almost anybody beat best defy frame group guys hard playing teams
I defy anybody to show me one frame of film that doesn't show us playing as hard as we could. This group of guys had a lot of circumstances working against them, but they almost beat one of the best teams in the league.
amazing begin certainly changes defensive head mindset offensive quickly speak
I certainly wouldn't begin to speak for Tony. But when you become a head coach, it's amazing how quickly your mindset changes and you don't think of yourself as an offensive or defensive guy. You can't.
intention
It's our intention to live up to the contract.
You tell them it's all about the team, and what we can do together,
regimen soft team training
The observation of this team being soft is conjecture. I know our training regimen has been sound.
