Brian Concannon, Jr.is a human rights lawyer who directs the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti. What we expect to get out of this is the declaration that the coup was wrong and that the rights of the petitioners were violated. No matter what happens on Tuesday, the election is going to be an empty exercise, unless the international community respects the Haitian voters' decision.
