bit couple gotten last learned major naturally pitch tougher
I think I've learned over the last couple of years a little bit better which way to prepare. I think my pitch recognition has gotten better -- I get in better counts, I think -- and naturally being back in Triple-A the last couple years, I got pitched a lot tougher than I ever did in the major leagues. I was in the middle-of-the-lineup guy, and I've learned a little bit from it.
florida missed
I missed it by one day when I was with Florida in 1998. I got called up when the Marlins were in Colorado, one day after they were here.
missed next time
Missed it by one day again. Hopefully, the next time is for real.
season start
There's a lot of season left. We haven't started yet. It's not the 25 you start with. It's the 25 you end the season with.
camp easier guys last season start
I showed them I can still hit, but it's something I've been through the last two years. It's a lot easier to come back if I go to Memphis. I know the guys after being in camp this long. We'll see. It's not the 25 who start the season, but the 25 who end the season who get to the World Series.
