I'm a big Steve Nash fan, have been since he's been in the league. I wanted to play with AmarŽ (Stoudemire) and Jimmy (Jackson, a Miami teammate). It was the fit and the opportunity to be alongside Kurt Thomas and AmarŽ. They made a great run, especially during the regular season. It definitely helped to have a great chance of getting out of the West and making a championship run.

It's hard to get into a rhythm, but the guys coming off the bench have to be prepared. The game doesn't slow down for you. You got to have your mind and everything set at the pace of the game. Obviously, we didn't do that. But it wasn't just the guys coming off the bench. It was our team as a whole.
