easy environment
It's not easy in that kind of environment. If they can do it there, they can do it anywhere.
field hardest individual learned mentally nfl playing position special takes
I've learned a lot over the years, ... Playing quarterback in the NFL is probably the hardest position on the field, mentally and physically, and from that standpoint, I have learned a lot. It takes a special individual to be able to do it.
challenge team
The challenge for us is not to look at our team as being 3-0,
left line push running side
If you look at our running game, the push that they're getting off the line of scrimmage on the left side is something we haven't had here before. It's been very impressive.
along bring guys work
It's really a trickle down and he's been able to work with those young guys really well and bring them along in the process, and they've really benefited from him.
alert easier ends hard hear offensive specific tight waiting word
It's hard sometimes. I would say the receivers and the tight ends have to be alert as to every word I say in the huddle. The offensive linemen are waiting to hear specific words, so it's a little easier for them.
I think I could have come up with a better one than that.
best control opportunity presents ready shape weigh
I'm going to weigh the options, ... The only thing I can control right now is to get in the best shape I can and be ready for an opportunity if it presents itself.
aggressive ball behind both dan davis field great job left line majority pass protection realized running side time
I think they were really aggressive. I think both Anthony Davis and Dan Buenning were very aggressive on the left side. I don't know if you realized but the majority of the time when we were running the ball it was to the left side of the field behind those guys. I think they did a great job of establishing the line of scrimmage. And they did a better job in pass protection than I think any of us thought they would, so that was very encouraging.
ball stop turning
I can make better decisions, ... I need to stop turning the ball over in situations.
ball bit hold ike longer picked
Ike was open. I had to hold the ball a little bit longer for him to clear. It was a blitz. I just overthrew him, and they picked it off.
again beat protect until
And once you see that it works, you're going to see it again until you can protect it or beat it.
ball cadillac came field flat ruling slick throw wanting
I really didn't know if it was an incompletion or a fumble or what the ruling was, ... I came out wanting to throw the ball to Cadillac in the flat quick, and the ball was really slick with the field and it just came out of my hand.
character coming constant fourth great guys happy mark played proud teams trust work
Oh, they're fans, ... Trust me, I wasn't happy with some of those plays, either. But during the whole year, you're going to have adversity. That's just a constant in football. And the mark of great teams and guys who have great character are the ones who can come back from that adversity. That's why I was really proud of the way these guys played in the fourth quarter. It's something we really wanted to work on coming into this year.
